Diamond Foundry seeks a Sustaining Laser Engineer to manage high-power laser systems across manufacturing facilities, focusing on process optimization and yield improvement for diamond wafer production. You'll troubleshoot laser system performance, analyze production data, and collaborate with R&D and operations teams to maintain stable manufacturing of cutting-edge semiconductor materials.
What you'll do
- Deploy and optimize high-power ablative laser systems across multiple facilities
- Develop data collection and analysis systems for yield and process monitoring
- Investigate and resolve process excursions and equipment issues
- Troubleshoot laser system performance and identify root causes
- Collaborate with R&D, operations, and quality teams on process improvements
- Support high-volume manufacturing of novel diamond wafer production processes
