DiDi Autonomous Driving is looking for a PhD intern in Motion Planning to contribute to the development of advanced algorithms for autonomous vehicles. The intern will work on various aspects of motion and behavioral planning to enhance vehicle decision-making capabilities in complex environments.

What you'll do

  • Implement solutions for high-level decisions like lane changes and merges.
  • Design and optimize motion planning algorithms for safe trajectories.
  • Develop geometry and velocity planning systems for diverse scenarios.
  • Model driving environments and agent behaviors for planning under uncertainty.
  • Create cost functions that ensure safety, comfort, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate autonomy systems.
