Pipeline Engineer - Houston, TX

About this role

This role involves validating and managing the integrity of oil and gas transmission and distribution pipelines, with a focus on MAOP compliance and safety standards. You'll analyze technical documentation, conduct risk assessments, and collaborate with teams to ensure pipeline reliability and regulatory adherence.

What you'll do

• Perform MAOP validation through data gathering, calculations, and regulatory compliance verification
• Review technical documentation including as-built drawings, BOMs, MTRs, and POs for accuracy
• Conduct pipeline integrity assessments, corrosion control analysis, and maintenance planning
• Provide risk mitigation recommendations and support project teams with technical expertise
• Use advanced Excel functions for data management, analysis, and reporting
• Maintain knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices
