About this role

Divergent seeks a Robotic Simulation Engineer to support operations of flexible robotic manufacturing systems used in their adaptive production platform. You'll create simulations, program industrial robots, optimize assembly sequences, and collaborate across teams to improve automation processes for automotive, aerospace, and defense applications.

What you'll do

  • Create simulation studies in Process Simulate/Teamcenter for robotic work centers
  • Generate optimal assembly sequences and validate feasibility through reach and interference analysis
  • Program and troubleshoot industrial robots (KUKA, ABB, FANUC, Yaskawa) for production tasks
  • Maintain kinematic libraries and customer manufacturing data for automated systems
  • Document automation systems and train team members on operation and maintenance
  • Analyze system data and collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements
