About this role
DoorDash seeks a Full Stack Applications Engineer to develop and maintain software solutions supporting talent acquisition and employee experiences. This hybrid role involves collaborating with business partners and cross-functional teams to build scalable applications that enhance people operations across the organization.
What you'll do
- Design and build end-to-end applications supporting recruitment and employee experience functions
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Analysts, and Data Engineers on technical projects
- Support troubleshooting, testing, configuration, and deployment of applications
- Work with senior leaders and business partners to understand requirements and align solutions
- Identify opportunities for technical and process improvements
- Train end-users and peers on new processes and functionality
What they're looking for
- Full-stack development with JavaScript/TypeScript, Python (FastAPI), React, HTML5, CSS3
- Testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest, Cypress, Playwright)
- Database design and optimization (Postgres, MySQL, Cassandra, SQL/PLSQL)
- Microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Docker and Kubernetes containerization
- Computer science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, design patterns)
- System analysis for efficiency, scalability, and security
- Cross-functional collaboration and communication
