Reliability Test Engineer

About this role

DoorDash Labs seeks a Senior/Staff Reliability Test Engineer to develop and validate unmanned delivery platforms through comprehensive testing, root cause analysis, and innovative test methodologies. You'll work with a senior robotics team to identify failures early and drive design improvements for autonomous systems.

What you'll do

• Execute and monitor reliability tests in internal facilities and external labs
• Collaborate with engineering teams to diagnose and analyze test failures
• Design and build novel test methods and equipment for autonomous platforms
• Perform root cause analysis on lab and field failures to inform design changes
• Develop and automate reliability tests using Python scripting
• Create test fixtures and rigs using CAD and shop tools
