UX Design Engineer, Content Tooling
About this role
DoorDash seeks a full-stack UX Design Engineer to build content tooling platforms and AI-driven workflows that enable product teams across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo to generate, localize, and deploy content at scale. You'll combine frontend and backend development with design thinking to create internal tools that reduce manual work and accelerate content shipping.
What you'll do
- Design and build full-stack internal content tools using React, TypeScript, and backend services (Kotlin/Java)
- Integrate LLM workflows and custom GPTs into product experiences for content iteration
- Embed content tooling into A/B testing platforms and build automated deployment pipelines
- Optimize performance, reliability, and maintainability across the entire stack
- Partner with content designers, product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders across multiple brands
- Define and track metrics around shipping speed, adoption, quality, and time savings
