Platform Engineer, Payments

About this role

Dorsia seeks a Platform Engineer to architect and maintain the payments infrastructure powering their hospitality marketplace, including member transactions, billing cycles, and operator reconciliation. This role requires deep expertise in production payments systems, POS integrations, and subscription billing within the restaurant-tech ecosystem.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain payment processing architecture with integrations to processors, acquirers, and card networks
• Own membership billing lifecycle including recurring charges, failed payment recovery, and cancellation workflows
• Build and manage POS system integrations with platforms like SevenRooms, Toast, and Square
• Implement PCI-compliant data handling practices across all financial transactions
• Design operator reconciliation and payout flows that scale across venues and markets
• Collaborate with Finance, Security, and Product teams on transaction data, fraud controls, and payment experiences
