Platform Engineer, Security

About this role

Dorsia seeks a Platform Engineer with strong security expertise to build and maintain infrastructure for a luxury hospitality platform handling sensitive member data and payment systems. You'll architect cloud solutions, define security patterns, and ensure the platform serving high-profile users remains secure and performant.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain cloud infrastructure for Typescript and PHP applications with secure-by-default configurations
• Own observability, incident response, and on-call operations using Datadog and related monitoring tools
• Define authentication, authorization, and access control patterns across member, operator, and internal services
• Lead threat modeling for new features and embed security improvements into the development workflow
• Manage secrets, certificates, and key rotation; integrate SAST/DAST tools into CI/CD pipeline
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams on requirements

What they're looking for

• AWS cloud infrastructure (6-8 years experience)
• Container orchestration and Docker best practices (ECS Fargate preferred)
• Platform or application security engineering (1-2 years hands-on)
• Backend systems, APIs, and web service integration
• CI/CD automation (Github Actions preferred)
• Problem-solving and incident response
• Cross-functional communication and collaboration
• Knowledge of cloud/DevOps trends and cybersecurity landscape
