Backend Software Engineer

About this role

Doxel AI is seeking a Backend Engineer to build the data processing foundation for an AI-powered construction platform. You'll design and maintain scalable systems that handle computer vision analysis, ML pipelines, and analytics for major construction clients, while collaborating across product and frontend teams.

What you'll do

• Own backend systems that process vast construction project data from 360 video capture and analysis
• Design and fortify data pipelines and API infrastructure for reliability and scalability
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and design teams to deliver high-performance solutions
• Partner with ML, computer vision, and LLM teams on automation pipeline integration
• Establish design patterns and unify data pipeline architecture across teams
• Mentor other engineers and drive technical excellence in backend systems
