Application Support Engineer

Join DRW's Unified Platform Support team as an Application Support Engineer, providing technical support for sophisticated financial trading systems and data analytics platforms. This role combines troubleshooting production environments with direct collaboration with developers, working with market data, trading systems, and modern cloud technologies across multiple global locations.

What you'll do

• Monitor and troubleshoot production data pipelines and jobs in real-time
• Diagnose data-related issues by analyzing system alerts and reviewing code when necessary
• Provide L1/L2 support to users handling 2-10 inquiries daily, escalating to developers for L3 issues
• Partner with development teams to implement improvements and onboard new applications
• Support market data feeds, order processing, and compliance/surveillance systems
• Maintain documentation and processes as the support team expands

• Linux system administration and support
• Market data and order data systems experience
• Java and Python programming knowledge
• SQL database queries, updates, and maintenance
• AWS cloud computing and Kubernetes
• Git version control
• FIX protocol and financial data transfer protocols
