About this role
Dyna Robotics seeks a Hardware Support Engineer II to lead hardware assembly, diagnostics, and quality validation for advanced robotic systems. You'll independently manage builds, troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems, drive process improvements, and support deployments while ensuring commercial-grade reliability and performance standards.
What you'll do
- Fabricate, assemble, integrate, and validate robotic prototypes with mechanical and electrical subsystems
- Lead root cause investigations for hardware failures and implement corrective actions
- Design and fabricate assembly jigs and test fixtures to improve consistency and reduce defects
- Set up, calibrate, and maintain teleoperation rigs for data collection at lab and client sites
- Develop SOPs, quality checklists, and documentation; establish hardware performance metrics and process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and mentor junior technicians on quality standards
