About this role

Electric Hydrogen is seeking a Fluid Systems Engineer to join their Product Engineering team in San Jose. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing fluid systems for PEM electrolysis plants, collaborating with cross-functional teams to overcome technical challenges and improve product performance. You'll contribute to all stages of the product lifecycle, from initial concept to production and ongoing improvements.

What you'll do

  • Translate plant requirements into engineering specifications for fluid systems.
  • Develop and maintain engineering documentation like P&IDs and PFDs.
  • Perform engineering calculations and process simulations for product optimization.
  • Evaluate and recommend equipment based on technical and commercial needs.
  • Support process safety analyses (HAZOP, LOPA).
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure product integration.
