Elastic AI Engineer

About this role

Elastic seeks an AI Engineer to design and deploy autonomous agentic workflows that automate complex business processes using the Elastic Stack, LLMs, and enterprise integrations. You'll combine RAG, search intelligence, and multi-agent orchestration to build scalable, secure AI solutions that enhance organizational productivity.

What you'll do

• Design and implement agentic workflows using reasoning engines and tool integration for end-to-end business automation
• Apply RAG and Elasticsearch Relevance Engine to ground agents in enterprise knowledge and ensure accuracy
• Develop, fine-tune, and integrate LLMs with internal APIs and third-party SaaS tools for autonomous action
• Manage agent lifecycle including training, deployment, performance optimization, security, and compliance
• Design cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) supporting high-concurrency enterprise agent demands
• Document AI workflows, cloud infrastructure, and deployment processes; implement security and data privacy standards
