Elevations Credit Union seeks an Application Developer to design and maintain software solutions for their financial institution. This mid-level role involves translating business requirements into technical implementations, working with banking platforms like Jack Henry Symitar, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize systems.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify system enhancement opportunities
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and architecture
• Develop, analyze, and modify programs using JHA Symitar PowerOn and related languages
• Integrate third-party software and hardware with existing systems
• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards
• Troubleshoot production issues and resolve incidents in existing applications

What they're looking for

• JHA Symitar PowerOn programming
• Financial institution platform experience (FIS, Fiserv, Jack Henry)
• SQL and relational database development
• Programming languages (Java, C#, PHP, COBOL, RPG)
• HTML and JavaScript
• Unix/Linux and shell scripting
• SDLC best practices
• Software design and systems engineering principles
