Front-End Design Engineer

About this role

EliseAI is seeking their first dedicated Front-End Design Engineer to build and scale the user experience across housing and healthcare platforms. You'll bridge design and engineering, establishing a design system, translating Figma designs into production interfaces, and ensuring visual consistency and accessibility across the product.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain a design system in collaboration with design, product, and engineering teams
• Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, accessible, and performant interfaces
• Design and implement UI interactions and micro-interactions that enhance usability
• Refactor existing surfaces to improve usability and unify visual language
• Collaborate with PMs and engineers to align on requirements and feasibility
• Act as a bridge between design intent and production code, establishing frontend development processes
