Avionics Software Engineer II

About this role

ENSCO Avionics seeks a Software Engineer II to develop and verify embedded avionics software for engine and flight control systems. You'll perform requirements-based testing, software integration, and lab-level validation while working collaboratively in a hybrid team environment.

What you'll do

• Integrate and verify embedded avionics software using VectorCast, Green Hills, and similar tools
• Develop formal requirements-based test procedures and document results in configuration management systems
• Debug hardware-software interactions and control systems at the lowest operational levels
• Conduct simulation and system-level testing in an avionics lab environment
• Review requirements and trace test procedures through DOORS to ensure DO-178C compliance
• Collaborate with suppliers, clients, and internal teams across teleconferences and on-site work
