About this role

ENSCO RAIL seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, test, troubleshoot, and repair sophisticated railway track inspection systems at customer sites and facilities. The role combines hands-on technical work with complex electro-mechanical and optical systems, requiring both field service expertise and collaborative support with design teams.

What you'll do

  • Perform field service, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of railway inspection equipment at domestic and international customer sites
  • Install, calibrate and test track inspection systems on railway vehicles
  • Assemble, test, debug and repair electronic circuit boards, cables, sensors and computer equipment
  • Support design engineers in assembly, testing and debugging of new products
  • Work independently at customer sites to diagnose and resolve complex system problems
  • Perform data analysis on electro-mechanical data acquisition systems
