Network Deployment Engineer

About this role

EOS IT Solutions seeks a Network Deployment Engineer to deploy and manage large-scale network and server infrastructure across global data centers and Points of Presence. You'll handle equipment configuration, documentation, asset management, and vendor coordination while ensuring optimal datacenter operations and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Deploy, configure, and support production networks and server infrastructure across multiple data centers and POP sites
• Calculate power requirements and coordinate with facilities and vendors to meet infrastructure needs
• Create rack designs, floor plans, wiring diagrams, and port maps for new deployments
• Manage asset inventory and handle RMA processes for networking equipment
• Diagnose server and network equipment failures and perform repairs using internal tools and scripts
• Collaborate with Network Engineering, Logistics, and vendors on equipment integration and POP infrastructure needs

What they're looking for

• Data center deployment and large-scale infrastructure experience
• Linux server and network device support
• Fiber-optic and optical equipment knowledge (DWDM)
• Datacenter network architecture and best practices
• Network certifications (CCNA, JNCIA, RHCT preferred)
• Scripting languages and IPv6 familiarity
• Traffic capture and analysis
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting under pressure
