About this role
EquipmentShare is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join their team in Columbia, MO, and contribute to the standardization and integration of control systems across their advanced solutions fleet. This role will focus on ensuring consistent and reliable performance through platform integration, standardized communication, and interoperability. You'll support both new equipment development and optimization of existing systems, playing a vital role in the company's mission to transform the construction industry.
What you'll do
- Integrate control systems across diverse equipment types (generators, BESS, load banks, etc.).
- Develop and maintain PLC logic, HMI interfaces, and control architectures.
- Support the integration of equipment into EquipmentShare’s telematics platform (T3).
- Troubleshoot control and communication issues during commissioning and field support.
- Create control system documentation, including schematics, IO lists, and system architecture.
