Network Engineer (Trading Infrastructure)

About this role

Join a trading infrastructure team as a Network Engineer to design, build, and operate high-performance network connectivity across colocation sites. You'll troubleshoot complex latency and reliability issues in low-latency environments while collaborating with systems, hardware, and vendor teams.

What you'll do

• Design and operate network connectivity across colocation sites and multiple regions
• Execute end-to-end network setups including cross-connects, routing, validation, and go-live support
• Troubleshoot network performance issues affecting latency, jitter, packet loss, and reliability
• Manage timing-sensitive networking (PTP/NTP) bring-up, validation, and monitoring
• Develop automation solutions and operational tooling to improve repeatability
• Participate in on-call rotations for incident response and network operations support

• Routing and switching fundamentals (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, L2/L3 design)
• Linux and next-generation firewall administration
• Performance analysis and low-latency optimization
• Cloud provider connectivity (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Scripting and automation (Python, Bash preferred)
• Cross-functional collaboration across systems and hardware teams
• PTP/NTP timing protocols
