About this role

E-Space is seeking a Co-Evaporation Engineer to operate and optimize thin-film deposition equipment for aerospace solar applications. You'll manage roll-to-roll vacuum deposition processes, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate across teams to scale manufacturing of advanced satellite components.

What you'll do

  • Operate and maintain co-evaporation or sputter vacuum deposition equipment in roll-to-roll format
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with thin-film deposition processes
  • Prepare equipment and materials for production runs
  • Collaborate with process, equipment, and maintenance engineers on optimization
  • Work with production and backend teams to ensure manufacturability
