About this role
E-Space seeks a Thin Film Solar Sputter Engineer to operate and optimize roll-to-roll manufacturing equipment for flexible photovoltaic modules destined for LEO satellite IoT systems. The role combines hands-on equipment management with process optimization in a cleanroom aerospace manufacturing setting.
What you'll do
- Operate and monitor thin-film sputter deposition equipment for solar module production
- Optimize roll-to-roll (R2R) processing parameters and manufacturing workflows
- Perform cleanroom manufacturing and fabrication of thin-film photovoltaic layers
- Execute web handling and process control during production runs
- Support troubleshooting and maintenance of deposition equipment
- Ensure quality control and documentation of manufacturing processes
