About this role

Exa seeks a Developer Advocate to build working demos, reference apps, and integrations with their AI search API, then evangelize them through talks, workshops, and community engagement. You'll combine hands-on engineering with strong communication to help developers adopt the platform and provide actionable feedback to product.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain a library of reference applications, demos, and integrations showcasing Exa's search API for AI agents and developers
  • Deliver technical talks, workshops, and live streams at conferences, meetups, and community events to drive adoption
  • Engage authentically in developer communities, answering questions and providing support without promotional tactics
  • Create and maintain framework integrations in partnership with DevRel leadership
  • Surface developer friction and pain points to Product and Engineering with specific, actionable details
  • Collaborate with Technical PMM to repurpose demos and code into SEO and content assets
