We are seeking bright, articulate, self-motivated candidates who have a desire to grow their sales career. Selected candidates will have a strong work ethic and enthusiasm demonstrating initiative and professionalism. Our Services Inside Account Managers (SIAM) are responsible for a specific territory’s service revenue. Not limited to but including Renewal Maintenance, Renewal Subscription, Professional Services (where applicable) New Maintenance, and New Subscription revenue. You will quote expiring contracts 90 days in advance and drive these to closure. You are the service expert for your assigned territory.

Position Responsibilities:

• Responsible for quoting and upselling into a specified region/territory
• Attain monthly/quarterly/annual quotas on assigned region/territory
• Weekly /Monthly / Quarterly forecasting
• Team with Partners to cross-sell and up-sell services into existing customer base - create incremental pipeline and revenue
• Create pro-active and re-active quotes for customers and partners as well as facilitate any special pricing requests; verifying serial numbers and RMA's
• Manage service contracts/renewals for customers in assigned region/territory
• Manage service sales campaigns and promotions for assigned region/territory
• Close on time all service renewal opportunities
• Regular pipeline and opportunity reporting both internally and externally, including SalesForce accuracy
• Identify product upsell opportunities and work with the product account team
• Work with internal teams to protect data integrity and manage service orders

Requirements

• 2+ years in Inside Sales experience required
• Strong telephone communications skills comfortable calling on clients
• Should have a desire to grow your career in Service Sales utilizing Consultative Sales techniques
• Ability to work well in a fast paced, team environment
• College Degree preferred
• Interest and knowledge of software/hardware technologies preferred
• Experience with Computer Networking technologies a bonus
• Possess energetic and enthusiastic demeanor
• Experience with SalesForce.com required
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
• Strong verbal and written skills
• Up to 5% travel requirement

Compensation: This role has a market-competitive compensation with an anticipated base compensation range of 70,000 -80,000USD. The posted range reflects the amount Extreme Networks reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role upon hire. This range is set using objective, gender-neutral criteria based on skills, experience, responsibility, and working conditions. Actual compensation offered will depend on the selected candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and work location. This role is also eligible for commission on a 70/30 split, and the full benefits package described below.
