About this role
fab2 is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to design, iterate, and build specialized equipment for semiconductor fabrication. This role involves owning systems end-to-end, from design to production, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. A portfolio showcasing built projects is highly desirable.
What you'll do
- Own semiconductor fabrication systems and subsystems end-to-end.
- Design and iterate on machines and subsystems for semiconductor fabrication.
- Create mechanical designs including frames, components, and assemblies.
- Partner closely with process, electrical, software, and production teams.
- Source components and materials, collaborating with vendors.
- Work with pumps, valves, fittings, tubing, chambers, and thermal systems
