Enterprise Security Engineer

About this role

FanDuel seeks an Enterprise Security Engineer to develop and implement security control strategies across the organization. You'll drive security initiatives using modern approaches like zero trust and secure-by-default principles, while balancing risk reduction with business enablement at scale.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement enterprise security control strategies using zero trust and secure-by-default models
• Serve as security subject matter expert to internal teams, enabling business goals while addressing security risks
• Drive team roadmaps by identifying emerging threats and security gaps across the organization
• Leverage automation and code-based approaches to deploy enterprise-wide security controls
• Own relationships with cross-functional partners including engineering, legal, and global teams
• Apply threat modeling to corporate infrastructure and implement prevention-first architectures

What they're looking for

• Security engineering across multiple domains (zero trust, endpoint security, data protection, MDM, SaaS security)
• Scripting proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Go, or Ruby
• Identity and access management (SAML, SCIM, OAuth, WebAuthN)
• Threat modeling and risk assessment
• Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration
• Ability to work in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments
• AI and automation application to security challenges
• Enterprise infrastructure security architecture
