About this role
Federato seeks a Senior Customer Engineer to lead pre-sales technical engagements for its AI-native insurance platform. You'll own discovery-to-close processes, deliver customized demos, and build reusable assets while partnering with sales, product, and implementation teams across the ANZ region.
What you'll do
- Lead technical sales engagements from discovery through deal closure
- Design and deliver tailored demos focused on business outcomes for insurance carriers
- Translate customer workflows into platform configurations for quoting, rating, and endorsements
- Build and maintain reusable demo environments and configuration libraries
- Develop discovery playbooks, templates, and technical collateral for the team
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to inform roadmap based on customer feedback

- Technical pre-sales and solutions engineering

- Insurance domain knowledge (policy lifecycle, rating, underwriting systems)
- JavaScript and SQL coding
- Executive and practitioner-level communication
- RFP and security questionnaire completion

- Problem-solving and first-principles thinking
