Entry-Level Transportation Engineer/Planner

Fehr & Peers is hiring entry-level transportation engineers and planners in Long Beach to build careers through diverse project experience. You'll develop technical and project management skills while working on transportation planning, engineering design, and analysis across multiple project types.

What you'll do

• Conduct transportation impact studies and multimodal operations assessments
• Support bicycle, pedestrian, and complete streets planning projects
• Assist with access, circulation, parking, and safety studies
• Develop design drawings from conceptual through construction-ready stages
• Perform travel demand forecasting, VMT assessments, and transit analysis
• Support freight planning, TDM plans, and climate action initiatives
