Product Engineer (Mechanical)

About this role

MISUMI Americas seeks a Product Support Engineer to deliver technical expertise on structural hardware and fasteners for industrial automation customers. The role combines customer support, product content management, and business development coordination to drive customer satisfaction and catalog growth.

What you'll do

• Monitor and respond to technical inquiries via email, phone, and virtual meetings with customers and internal teams
• Address product questions including specifications, dimensions, materials, tolerances, engineering calculations, and CAD data
• Analyze customer requirements and recommend suitable product alternatives or cross-references
• Investigate product issues and defects by collaborating with customers and suppliers to determine root causes
• Update and maintain e-commerce product pages with accurate, complete information from manufacturer catalogs
• Support business development by sourcing quotes, identifying catalog expansion opportunities, and participating in trade shows
