About this role
Field AI seeks a Robot Autonomy Engineer to lead real-world deployment and integration of autonomous wheeled robotic systems for federal and commercial customers. You'll own end-to-end operations, troubleshoot field issues, gather performance data, and collaborate across teams to drive reliability and adoption of mission-critical autonomous systems.
What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end deployment and configuration of autonomous systems in customer environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain system uptime and mission success
- Gather and analyze field feedback to identify improvements and drive engineering enhancements
- Train and support customer operators to achieve operational readiness
- Serve as voice of customer, translating field insights back to engineering and product teams
- Implement monitoring and diagnostic tools to ensure sustained reliability
