About this role

Fieldguide seeks Deployed Software Engineers (all levels) to build innovative audit and advisory software that modernizes trust for global commerce. You'll design impactful features, work directly with customers to solve complex problems, and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture at a well-funded early-stage startup.

What you'll do

• Design and deliver high-quality features that drive customer and business impact
• Collaborate with customers, product, design, and GTM teams to identify and solve challenging problems
• Balance rapid iteration with long-term system maintainability and reliability
• Improve tech stack, developer workflows, and engineering practices
• Contribute to a supportive, growth-oriented engineering culture
• May include some travel to customer sites

• Software engineering fundamentals and production code experience
• TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python, and GraphQL
• Writing maintainable, well-tested, and observable code
• Customer relationship building and problem-solving
