About this role
Figma is building a Forward Deployed Engineering team to embed with enterprise customers and solve complex adoption challenges by integrating Figma products into their technical environments. As a senior/staff-level engineer, you'll write product code, debug real-world integration issues, and transform field insights into scalable improvements that benefit all customers.
What you'll do
- Embed with strategic customers to integrate Figma products into their codebases, design systems, and developer environments
- Execute technical discovery to understand customer constraints, toolchains, and scope the fastest path to value
- Build and configure LLM-powered workflows including MCP setup, agent skills, and prompt engineering
- Debug complex integration problems across unfamiliar stacks, CI/CD systems, and enterprise environments
- Transform one-off solutions into reusable playbooks and actionable product feedback for engineering teams
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Experience to shape both product and processes
