About this role
Figma seeks an experienced technical leader to drive strategy and operations for the Build Systems team, owning infrastructure that enables engineers to ship changes safely and quickly. You'll architect scalable CI/CD platforms, optimize build systems across a large monorepo, and mentor a team focused on accelerating engineering velocity.
What you'll do
- Set technical roadmap and strategy for Build Systems team
- Lead multi-quarter initiatives to reduce build/test times and improve CI reliability
- Design and maintain scalable build systems, CI platforms, and test frameworks serving thousands of engineers
- Architect large-scale AWS infrastructure powering the entire build pipeline
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify developer pain points and design solutions
- Mentor team members and communicate technical decisions to all organizational levels
