Software Integration Engineer

About this role

Figure, an AI robotics company, seeks a Software Integration Engineer to join the Systems Integration Team in San Jose. You'll own core software features end-to-end on the humanoid robot platform, bridging AI, controls, firmware, and hardware to ensure system reliability and performance. This hands-on role requires 5 days/week in-office collaboration and demands strong debugging skills, cross-functional problem-solving, and ownership of complex systems.

What you'll do

• Become expert on robot systems through hands-on testing, issue triage, and troubleshooting
• Define and lead test plans for new software and firmware features
• Collaborate across Platform Software, AI, Controls, and Manufacturing teams to resolve bugs and improve architecture
• Validate software releases and support internal manufacturing and service team bring-up
• Partner with Test Infrastructure team to develop automated tests and diagnostics that catch regressions
• Work with developers and manufacturing to improve firmware diagnostics and end-of-line testing
