Security Engineer, Corporate Security
About this role
Flexport seeks a Security Engineer to build and scale corporate security controls across identity, endpoints, and SaaS applications. You'll own end-to-end security projects—from SSO and MFA rollout to device policy automation and SaaS risk reduction—using code and automation to protect a global workforce.
What you'll do
- Advance identity posture through SSO expansion, phishing-resistant MFA deployment, and least-privilege access controls
- Build detections and guardrails for account takeover, MFA fatigue attacks, and session token theft
- Write device policy as code for macOS and Windows with staged rollout and rollback capabilities
- Maintain and improve EDR stack detection and response coverage across the fleet
- Reduce SaaS risk through SSPM tooling, OAuth governance, and shadow IT detection
- Automate corporate security workflows including device provisioning, access reviews, and vendor assessments

- Endpoint management and EDR tools (Jamf, Kandji, Intune, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
- Identity protocols (SAML, OIDC, SCIM) and identity providers (Okta, Entra, Google Workspace)
- Scripting and automation (Python, Go, or similar languages)
- SaaS security posture management and OAuth-grant governance
- Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Cross-functional communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- DLP and insider-risk tooling experience
- AI and MCP integration security considerations
