Electrical Engineer, Modular R&D
About this role
Fluidstack seeks an Electrical Engineer to design factory-built modular data center electrical systems from concept through production. You'll own power distribution, grounding, controls integration, and solve complex multi-discipline integration challenges where electrical, mechanical, and structural systems converge in tight tolerances.
What you'll do
- Engineer electrical systems for modular data center product including power distribution, grounding, and controls integration
- Develop one-lines, panel schedules, and cable/raceway designs for factory installation and field deployment
- Resolve integration conflicts between electrical, mechanical, and structural systems with focus on routing, penetrations, and tolerances
- Provide rapid field and factory support with same-day RFI responses and engineering fixes for next revision cycles
- Drive prototyping, mockups, fit checks, and first-article reviews with in-person participation
- Maintain configuration control across prototype iterations, factory runs, and field deployments
