About this role

Fluidstack is seeking an Electrical Field Engineer to manage day-to-day operations of high and medium voltage electrical systems at rapidly scaling AI data center infrastructure. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, procedure development, and design coordination while operating mission-critical equipment in live, expanding facilities.

What you'll do

  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot HV/MV electrical systems including transformers, switchgear, generators, UPS, and PDUs
  • Develop and execute maintenance procedures (MOPs, EOPs, AOPs) for planned and emergency electrical work
  • Monitor electrical management systems and manage alarms, performance metrics, and capacity tracking
  • Coordinate with third-party contractors and manage high-risk electrical operations safely
  • Review design submittals and support construction projects and system upgrades from operations perspective
  • Maintain accurate as-builts and one-line diagrams following all modifications

  • Reading and interpreting one-line diagrams and electrical submittals
  • Writing and executing electrical procedures and MOPs
  • NETA and NFPA 70E certifications (bonus)
  • Electrical management system (EPMS) platforms (bonus)
  • Arc-flash and electrical safety program knowledge (bonus)
  • Contractor coordination and supervision
