About this role
Fluidstack is seeking an Electrical Field Engineer to manage day-to-day operations of high and medium voltage electrical systems at rapidly scaling AI data center infrastructure. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, procedure development, and design coordination while operating mission-critical equipment in live, expanding facilities.
What you'll do
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot HV/MV electrical systems including transformers, switchgear, generators, UPS, and PDUs
- Develop and execute maintenance procedures (MOPs, EOPs, AOPs) for planned and emergency electrical work
- Monitor electrical management systems and manage alarms, performance metrics, and capacity tracking
- Coordinate with third-party contractors and manage high-risk electrical operations safely
- Review design submittals and support construction projects and system upgrades from operations perspective
- Maintain accurate as-builts and one-line diagrams following all modifications

- High and medium voltage electrical systems operation
- Hands-on troubleshooting in 24/7 mission-critical environments
- Reading and interpreting one-line diagrams and electrical submittals
- Writing and executing electrical procedures and MOPs
- NETA and NFPA 70E certifications (bonus)
- Electrical management system (EPMS) platforms (bonus)
- Arc-flash and electrical safety program knowledge (bonus)
- Contractor coordination and supervision
