Network Engineer, Deployment & Integration

About this role

Fluidstack seeks a Network Engineer to deploy and integrate large-scale AI data center infrastructure, working hands-on to configure network equipment, validate optical connectivity, and coordinate rapid site turn-ups across multiple locations.

What you'll do

• Deploy and validate data center network infrastructure including switches, optics, and management systems
• Ensure physical connectivity meets production standards through fiber remediation, insertion loss validation, and OTDR testing
• Manage hardware logistics including staging, inventory, RMA coordination, and DCIM updates
• Partner with cross-functional teams (DC Operations, ICT, Hardware, Network Engineering) to identify and resolve blockers
• Maintain documentation including cutsheets, as-builts, validation results, and deployment playbooks
• Provide operational support including incident response and troubleshooting during and after deployments

• Data center network engineering and modern fabric architectures (EVPN/VXLAN, BGP, CLOS)
• Production switch configuration and optics installation
• Optical layer troubleshooting (OTDR traces, insertion loss measurement)
• Physical and logical network diagnostics across complex topologies
• Cross-team communication and documentation
• Field work capability and rapid technology ramp-up
