Platform Engineer

About this role

Fluidstack seeks a Platform Engineer to design and build foundational infrastructure platforms including CMDB, asset management, DCIM, and monitoring systems that enable global data center operations. You'll work cross-functionally to deliver scalable internal tooling and operational automation that directly supports rapid infrastructure deployment and AI compute delivery.

What you'll do

• Design and build CMDB systems and asset lifecycle management platforms for infrastructure tracking and deployment workflows
• Develop DCIM platforms for rack operations, server deployment, quality assurance, and fleet-scale management
• Create monitoring and observability platforms integrating telemetry from facility and IT systems with intelligent alerting
• Build workflow orchestration and automation systems to eliminate manual toil across incident, problem, and change management
• Collaborate with data center operations, engineering, and security teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Evaluate build vs. buy decisions and champion modern development practices including CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code
