Zipline is seeking a talented Software Integration Intern to contribute to their autonomous delivery system. This role focuses on integrating complex autonomy features, bridging the gap between mission logic and real-time flight operations. You'll utilize Rust to develop and test critical software, working collaboratively with various engineering teams to ensure robust and safe performance.

What you'll do

  • Integrate complex autonomy features across embedded software, behavior logic, and runtime systems.
  • Develop vehicle software in Rust, prioritizing performance and safety.
  • Create tooling for software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
  • Define success metrics and build logging infrastructure with systems and autonomy teams.
  • Work with planning, perception, and controls subsystems.
