About this role
Zipline is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer Intern to join their Ground Systems Deployment team. This role supports the development and deployment of Zipline's site infrastructure, contributing to the design of charging sites and ensuring compliance with municipal codes. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve engineering challenges and bring infrastructure projects from concept to construction.
What you'll do
- Support the civil and structural design of Zipline sites.
- Perform structural calculations and develop design documentation.
- Help create and improve design standards for charging sites.
- Support permitting and regulatory reviews.
- Collaborate with Real Estate, Systems Engineering, and Tower Engineering teams.
- Evaluate and solve site-specific engineering challenges.
