Zipline is seeking a talented Controls Engineer Intern to join their Flight Controls team in South San Francisco. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the improvement of Zipline’s autonomous aircraft systems, from design and testing to data analysis and algorithm development. You'll work on real-world challenges and see your contributions directly impact their delivery platforms.
What you'll do
- Contribute to the design and implementation of flight algorithms.
- Create tools and tests to validate designs and prevent regressions.
- Analyze flight data to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and improve simulation tools for performance prediction.
- Design onboard integrity tests.
