Zipline is seeking a talented Embedded Software Engineering Intern to contribute to their innovative drone delivery system. This internship offers the opportunity to tackle challenging real-world problems, from designing firmware and testing hardware to improving ground systems and developing perception solutions. You'll collaborate with a cross-functional team and own projects from conception to deployment, directly impacting the reliability and scalability of Zipline's global operations.

What you'll do

  • Develop firmware for real-time coprocessors and manage high-frequency signals.
  • Build and validate RF radio test setups for antenna performance.
  • Design and implement telemetry systems using ADCs and I2C devices.
  • Prototype and integrate perception systems with sensor prototypes.
  • Improve ground systems behavior to optimize aircraft launch and landing.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to deploy software updates globally.
