Zipline is seeking a Mechanical/Mechatronics Test Engineer to ensure the reliability and safety of their "Dropbox" package-loading product, a critical component of their autonomous delivery system. This hands-on role involves owning the entire validation process, from test strategy to failure investigation, collaborating closely with various engineering teams. What you'll do
- Develop and execute validation plans for mechanical and electromechanical assemblies.
- Design, build, and maintain test equipment, including fixtures and automated cycle rigs.
- Integrate instrumentation for data collection and analysis.
- Automate test execution and data reporting using Python or similar tools.
- Lead failure investigations and drive corrective actions.
