Zipline is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure the high performance of their drone delivery vehicles. This role involves driving quality improvements through root-cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical writing skills, a hands-on understanding of inspection techniques, and a track record of driving process improvements.
What you'll do
- Review and disposition quality discrepancies from production.
- Lead root-cause analyses and corrective action plans.
- Provide feedback to suppliers and qualify new vendors.
- Define and document inspection plans and rework procedures.
- Partner with Test Engineers to improve test station designs.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
