About this role

Zipline is seeking a Supplier Industrialization Engineer to bridge the gap between product design and supplier execution for wire harnessing and FPC/FFC assemblies. This role will be crucial in ensuring suppliers can reliably manufacture Zipline hardware at scale, collaborating closely with engineering teams and contract manufacturers to optimize processes and resolve quality issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in industrialization, quality control, and supplier management within a fast-paced, global environment.

What you'll do

  • Provide design-for-manufacturing guidance for wire harness and FPC/FFC assemblies.
  • Lead supplier industrialization during new product introductions.
  • Assess supplier readiness using PPAP and quality control processes.
  • Audit supplier manufacturing processes to drive improvements.
  • Own and resolve supplier-caused quality failures.
  • Support supplier quotations by evaluating process feasibility.
