About this role

Formlabs is seeking a Python software intern to develop testing and calibration tools for their 3D printing systems. You'll work at the intersection of hardware and software, creating solutions that support manufacturing operations and product validation across global facilities.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain software tools for calibration, validation, and testing of electromechanical and robotic systems
  • Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to deliver testing solutions
  • Perform hardware modifications to printers and test setups as needed
  • Manage the full lifecycle of test tools including design, validation, documentation, and deployment
  • Analyze production data and provide insights to operations teams
  • Improve development and deployment processes for global factory releases
