Formlabs is seeking an R&D Reliability/Test Engineer to enhance the reliability of their 3D printing hardware. The role involves developing test plans, conducting root cause analysis, and collaborating with teams to ensure product robustness and efficient testing.
What you'll do
- Create and manage validation test plans for various product levels.
- Conduct root cause analysis of electromechanical failures.
- Design and implement automated testing equipment.
- Work with design teams to assess risks and contribute to design reviews.
- Analyze failure data to identify trends and develop corrective actions.

- Experience with electromechanical systems
- Testing of sensors and mechanical components
- Development of test plans
- Prototyping and conducting tests
- Data analysis and insight generation
- Familiarity with Linux and scripting
- SQL for data analysis
- Field failure analysis experience (preferred)
