Robotic Systems Integration Engineer (SLA & SLS)

About this role

As a Robotic Systems Integration Engineer at Formlabs, you will be instrumental in merging hardware and firmware for various subsystems, ensuring optimal functionality throughout the product development process. You'll collaborate with design teams to tackle cross-disciplinary challenges and deliver high-quality 3D printing solutions.

What you'll do

• Integrate hardware and firmware of subsystems
• Document system and subsystem architectures
• Define interfaces and control algorithms between subsystems
• Manage and track changes in requirements
• Design and execute test plans for system validation
• Resolve performance issues and recommend improvements

What they're looking for

• Experience with electro-mechanical system design
• Knowledge of motion control and sensors
• Ability to manage system requirements
• Proficiency in hardware debugging
• Scripting skills in Python, Labview, or Matlab
• Familiarity with embedded firmware (C++)
• Data analysis and reporting experience
• Consumer electronics knowledge
